I have to share a funny story with you all today the other day my daughter Maryam was in the bathroom I opened the door I noticed she was acting strange like she got busted doing something. So I asked her what was she doing? She goes nothing, i didn't see anything in the bathroom out of place so I told her to get out and stop playing in the bathroom . A week ago I bought a bag of pads duane reade had a good sale so i thought I would get them early, so the bag was not opened yet.
I looked under the cabinet to get something out and i noticed my bag of pads were open, and not only had they been opened but 3 pads were missing . I told Maryam to come here and I asked her did she do this did she open my bag of pads and what did she do with them ?At first she just stood there in complete silence, so I asked her again I said Maryam were are Ummis pads go get them so she went and got 3 of her baby dolls LOL they all had my pads on she said they needed diapers because one of them (her dolls) went potty in her bed last night . I laughed then I thought to my self wait let me go and check her bed and see if one of her "babies " really wet her bed .....Yep sure enough one of her "babied"did go potty in her bed .

In the mood to .....
Asalaamu Alaykum all I have a few things I wanted to blog about and share with you all inshallah not reall about polygyny but still worth sharing . My daughter Mariam gave me an ideal last night she was playing with one of her sunnah babies UmmAslam gave her I think a few eids back and she said Ummi my baby needs a new khimar and niqab I go why does she need a new one she goes because they don't match mashallah awww how cute she wants a matching set with sparkles on it .........ummmmmm ok . I figure this would be a good time to start teaching her how to sew and would be a nice bonding time for her and i with out her brothers . I'm finding living apart from my husband that I have more free time to have one on one with my children individually it's like i'm learning there little personalities all over again mashallah . Mustafa has said a few times he misses his dad and wants to go back to his dads he miss seeing his dad everyday and he says this to me on a regular i'm thinking of sending him to Qayyah or UmmMuhammad to live maybe we will see because I don't want my decison to hurt them in anyway and I sure would not want to keep them from there dad.... I'll share more once we've decided whats going to happen inshallah. Mariam and i will start sewing today I also want to make a khimar and niqab set or maybe an abayah for a sister I ran into the other day at the grocery store I haven't seen her for years we've talked on the phone every once in a while but haven't seen each other for about 3 or 4 yrs she a friend from childhood she a close family friend all my family know her and her family . So I ran into her the other day in the store I almost didn't recognize her subhanallah she has become muslim mashallah she is married alhumdullillah with a baby on the way mashallah so we exchanged numbers again and addresses inshallah she'll come over this weekend can't wait .

My Eid day ....
I typed this a few days ago and for some reason it was still sitting in the drafts so it's a little late sorry .
The kids and I we all went to Philly and we stayed with Qayyah alhumdullillah we all had a good time mashallah we had a scare with one of my children (mischief Muhaymin) after eid salaat before we started to pray UmmMuhammad and I told all the kids to sit down all together and guess which one decided he was not going to listen Muhaymin he decided he would walked off somewhere while were in salaat. So after salaat we were calling his name still no site of him, I started to freak out tears started forming One sister came up to UmmMuhammad and asked her was he her son Muhaymin thought she was me and would not let her abayah go subhanallah she kept telling him honey I'm not your Ummi but i'll help you find her mashallah may allah bless her for taking the time to help him find us. subhanallah after salaat everyone got to moving around kids running in and out it just became so hectic and Muhaymin got side tracted from were he was sitting i guess , anyways the sister and i had on very similar abayah and I guess my son thought she was me subhanallah . So after all of this we went back home sat around and chat it up stuff our face Mister rented some movies for us and and got some for the kids. We were talking about hajj Mister and Qayyah's aunt went to hajj we started talking about how you see some groups on hajj all will wear matching scarfs or something so the other group member's could spot each other . Then the light went off I said we should dress alike next eid this way the kids can spot us and we can spot each other. Leaving a masjid were majority of the sister were niqab and blck you can't help but mistake one sister for another and Mister please lets not say what he's done lol he will stand next to you and still can't tell if your his wife or not lol poor man ... I can recall one jummah we all came out I walked up to him trying to hand him a goodie bag the kids got he just stood there looking at me like I was a stranger lol I go honey here take the bag here he goes oh I didn't know it was you ...Men...... Whats your thoughts on you and your co-wife dressing alike yey or ney lol leave us a comment thanks for reading Happy belated Eid .

Muhammad's Progress
Some progress with my son Muhammad that i've recently notice with him mashallah .Muhammad has outburst regularly they can stem from frustration to being tired angry, so yesterday morning he was sitting on the floor behind me while I was ironing banging on this radio my husband gave him I guess to play with and Muhammad kept on banging on it and screaming really loud. I turn around to show him I'm paying attention im here whats wrong so i look at him and then he stops so i pick the radio up and pressed play Quran starts playing then he reached his hands out wanting me to give the radio back to him so i picked him up and put on the couch with the radio subhanallah he sat there listening for more than 2 hours listing to surah Baqarah subhanllah Quran really sooths him calms him down . Muhammad also loves the telphone Safiyah called and were talking and she hears him in the back ground again screaming and she says give him the phone let me talk see why he making all that noise she was joking. So she's talking to him and he starts laughing his head off and smiling trying to eat the phone I said what did you say to him she said i was asking him why was he making all that noise and kept saying his name so he likes the sound of his name or just voices on the phone . My husband better watch out I think Muhammad has a thing for Safiyah's phone voice :) I'll continue with more updates on his progress inshallah

Proper way to enter your Homes
Asalaamu Alaykum long time no see !
I had to come and blog this, this morning subhanallah sometime last night my husband came unannounced. I wake up this morning and I could feel some one in the room I was scared half to death subhanallah I didn't even know he was coming this weekend because of other things going on so it was a surprise . I can't find the hadith about returning at night inshallah i will refresh his memory ***(and mind)*** too when I find it . The new schedule and how the new living arrangements are going with the 4th wife added . I'll just say how my time is divided, I get the first and last weekend of each month . Ruqayyah, UmmAslam and UmmMuhammad can share how their time is divided . Ok so i didn't get a twitter page but I did get on facebook look me up . I'll use facebook as a blog for my personal life not too personal though but I mean like about more stuff going on with me outside of my co-wives inshallah . Jazzakumallah kharin UmmAslam new look is nice mashallah.
**Source Minhaj Al-Muslim Volume 1 page 266 #18: One should not return to his family at night , furthermore, he should send a messenger ahead to announce his comming so he does not surprise them by his return. This is from the guidance of Allah's Messenger .

Umm Muhammad My Intro
Asalaam Alaykum
My name is Fatoumata you can call me Umm Muhammad. I am Senegalese born and raised in USA I was married once before my husband was killed in a car accident 2 yrs ago I have one son from him Muhammad who was diagnosed with autism this past February masha Allah . After my husbands death I was afraid to get married for a number of reason one being I was not over my husbands death subhanallah. I am married now alhumdulilah yet I still miss him to this day .when I was first approached by my wali for a marriage proposal I felt I was not ready and rejected the offer then a yr went by and still yet I hadn't got married qadar of Allah.
My parents were becoming more and more worried they did not want me to have to raise my son on my own. I prayed many nights and begged Allah to send me a husband/step dad to my son who will guide us right. Every night I made dua to Allah, never did I ever consider or think about polygyny . My wali approached me yet again with a marriage proposal and could personally vouch for this brother's character because they are close friends and my wali wife is friends with my co-wives. My wali told me about this brother and his family and that I would be the fourth wife. I was very apprehensive about joining a plural marriage. I was scared and even felt intimidated by the other wives because they all were stable and had there own ways of doing things running their own homes and I was new to it all . Yes I was married before but had only been married for 4 1/2 months before I lost my husband so I am still new at married.
I was afraid the other wives would not be open to yet another wife not only another wife but one with a child. Alhumdulillah I could not have picked a better husband and co-wives alhumdulilah from the day of our nikah they have welcomed me with open arms . You know how you get that feeling like " ok they're just putting on a front in front of Mister" I was waiting on the time when there would be a change in them I was wondering when the real cat claws would come out . Subhanallah they never changed they didn't sugar coat things but never did I feel like I wasn't welcomed I want to thank you 3 for you genuine kindness .
Marriage thus far alhumdulilah it's going great still learning my husband and his likes and dislikes . I am very happy to be apart of this blog and have gone through and read all the other post you guys did I feel I know you all a little bit more alhumdulilah . Even UmmAslam. I thnk we should change signature too ." 4 wives 4 different stories " whatcha think ? Just a thought . Thanks Safiyah for adding me .
